Ken Eisenberger - A Lifetime of Service
My full-time counseling practice, under the name Hidden Hill Counseling, LLC, is designed to create a peaceful, safe, and quiet environment within which to do this important work. My love of this work began in 1977, and has taken me on a journey of wonderful, sometimes painful, discovery. Every day is new, every client is unique and special, and there is always the opportunity for resolving a crisis, making significant changes, and even going through some transformation.



Background
I began my career in California, working as a medical social worker at two different hospitals, and moving into supervision, administration, and consultation. I worked in a hemodialysis unit, emergency room, rehabilitation unit, burn center, and nursing home. I moved to Washington, D.C., where I went into private practice and started a travel business, which I co-owned for 10 years. That enabled me to travel throughout the world and interact with a multitude of cultures. I moved to Seattle in 1985, and subsequently to Marysville and finally my current office in the Everett/Lake Stevens area.



Credentials
Previously licensed in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Marriage, Family, and Child Counselor. Previously licensed in Washington, D.C. and Maryland as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Present credentials:

• M.S.W. - Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work, University of Southern California (USC)
• L.I.C.S.W. - Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (WA License #LW00005218)
• A.C.S.W. - Academy of Certified Social Workers
• Q.C.S.W. - Qualified Clinical Social Worker
• D.C.S.W. - Diplomate in Clinical Social Work
• B.C.D. - Board Certified Diplomate (highest level certification in the field)

Education & Training in clinical hypnotherapy (Hypnosis Institute) and EMDR, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (Level 2, EMDR Institute)
